oh i agree, im one of them. honkai at least feels the least shoe horned in.

tbh you could probably set a game in the star rail universe. instead of magically appearing in some contrived set up, just have aliens are real and they end up taking a spaceship to some planet. you’ve got gods, some sort of magic system already, and a bunch of “events” where you can go on planetary excursions and so on.

the problem with that is aeons are not based in morality. the same goes for paths. they're conceptual alignments.
