did something finally happen in rubi to make a bunch of people leave? or is it just shiny syndrome

bored of the same noncon over and over again

as someone actually in the game it's this. the game has turned into watching a handful of players and mods act out their rape kink fantasies on game comms. every event is just catering to them. now they're even inventing npcs to play with each other so they can non con their characters.

i'm staying to wrap up my cr threads and then i'm leaving.

^this. noncon is entirely avoidable, and i've never been in a game where people content warn as much as they do in this one.

it's more accurate to say it has always been that way at rubi. noncon is not a new element. that was a part of every event every month since summer of last year when I joined

that lack of variety is what drove me out. not a place for players with moderate-to-no interest in noncon

also ALSO in the game and I would say that the opportunity to make it a rape kink fest is there if you want it to be. which is in my opinion, somewhat unusual even for smut and dark content games. players can avoid noncon content and having noncon stuff happen to their characters entirely (anon said above and I agree, people are very good about cws) but this is not the game for folks who aren't interested in a very fucked up coercion heavy atmosphere

that said I like noncon so I'm happy like a pig in mud

also-also in the game and the noncon elements are clearly warned for and often easy to opt out of. i'm very active with a large cr base across two characters, and mandatory noncon has never come up in such a way that i can't find a perfectly reasonable explanation for not engaging with it. my disinterest in threading it also hasn't locked me out of pursuing other opportunities with my characters. the mods have been very responsive to feedback from players when it looks like they missed the mark on providing adequate warning for something.

i know this is apparently the game where all the wankers live now or whatever but this is also the best game i've ever been in in terms of players and mod team alike going above and beyond to warn for upsetting content.

i know this may seem like a bad faith q but i'm genuinely asking. who are all these 'known wankers' bc i've looked through the taken list & most names are unfamiliar to me.

i believe it's a good faith q but i am not going to name any of them because none of them have been shitty to me and i know what this place is about. sorry anon.

I'm a currently in rubi anon, and there's nothing questionable going on there aside from people deciding they aren't good fits for the game because they didn't read the CW's for the game before apping and are butthurt about it
