sorry but i literally don't see the issue here. the mods were trusting the player to be an adult and do the things that they were very clearly told to do in their acceptance comment. in fact, they were kinder than they needed to be by giving the player some time to make their comment to the taken list, which takes less than 30 seconds to do.

the player failed at this most basic of tasks. therefore, they get the boot.
