this has probably been said a million times before but i can’t stand people who use plurk as a combo of every other social media site/their personal diary and are constantly updating about every little thing, every little gripe, etc etc going on with them. maybe i’m just ok w/ not sharing every little detail of my life with others but the constant oversharing and attention-seeking is too much and i find myself ma’aring/muting on the daily. it’s always the same few people too. go outside?? go do something else??

what other people choose to post to their social media isn't about you or your personal feelings about it. it's about them and what they're comfortable with sharing in front of an audience. it's pretty dickish to purposefully try and make people feel uncomfortable about using plurk for its intended purpose, anon.

it's your responsibility to curate your own feed. you're an adult. unfollow, unfriend, or unplug.
