As someone who has helped with AC in large games before, you're overthinking how difficult it is to check for this. Most games these days use permanent AC pages so every player's prior AC submissions are right there in front of you.

It's also not difficult to notice the patterns unless you have the memory of a goldfish because if you checked their previous AC, reuse of a character that many times will jog your memory. The ones who are the worst about this especially so.

this. with permanent ac pages it's a piece of cake to open the player's past few months of ac in multiple tabs with just a few clicks.

Permanent AC and a form that asks for thread partner you only have to open one tab.

"# comments w/Jack"

Right in front of your eyeballs with no effort.

I was mostly commenting on the person who said permanent ac and then multiple tabs (airt is presumably familiar by choice of wording). Multiple tabs should not even be necessary if your permanent ac post is done right.

The easiest way to know who people are tagging with is to require character names in the form. The only exception to this is players who constantly post open posts or top levels as a proof and then manage to only tag their BFF in that top level. Which is also a pattern of behavior that will become obvious with time as another comment pointed out. Mods typically recognize their "skirting by ac" problem players after a few months.
