I'm not banned but I used to do it and I actually had some really helpful discussions about it on here with other people who did it when I admitted to it. I don't feel the urge anymore but even if I did hate-namedrops are so much rarer now, generally it seems like someone has to actively be pinned for bad behaviour in another thread and then they'll get the namedrop as a place to kind of consolidate those deets, spread awareness etc.

very glad worst threads and namedropping bitches for eating crackers isn't cool anymore. it curbs this type of self harm behavior too.

actually we vague about them until someone asks who, and then some idiot links their journal
