do you enjoy putting words in stranger's mouths. is that your kink

literally all you had to do was not engage in the one prompt that said "engaging with this one prompt will result in noncon body horror next month." there were other prompts you could have responded to. your options aren't only noncon body horror or don't play the game. be serious.

"noncon body horror" would never in a million years read to me as next month my character will have the surprise ability to impregnate people with eggs

maybe for you it does but people probably assumed it was body transformation which is like... a major theme of the game otherwise

yes. which is why i said they both missed the mark with adequately warning for this event and also apologized for it.

but it does not change the fact that the opt out once you had participated in the plot last time was to now just wait it out and not play the game, since it doesn't seem like the consequences were optional

no? like there were other body horror elements that you could engage with besides having your character fuck their cr and get them knocked up with demon spider eggs. e.g. characters who did fuck the npc felt like they had things crawling under their skin, and could go a little nuts trying to figure out what it was. there were lots of ways to play up that aspect of the body horror without making any of it involve sex or noncon egg laying.

you're not wrong that the damage from not providing adequate warnings about the pregnancy/egg laying thing was already done, but also like. it's done. the mods have apologized and are trying to figure out the best way to warn for triggering content going forward without risking major spoilers for this game. (this would have been a big spoiler since something relevant to the overarching plot specifically hatched from one of those eggs.)

how would a warning for pregnancy/oviposition (or spiders or just any of the other body horror options) have spoiled that a plot relevant entity hatching from those eggs

i want to emphasize this for the future reference of any mods on wankgate

warning for pregnancy horror is not a spoiler, please never hesitate to warn for pregnancy horror

i phrased that badly, warning for pregnancy/oviposition/egg laying in general probably wouldn't have spoiled anything, but knowing that a plot element was going to hatch from one of those eggs probably made them want to keep mum on the details. which i imagine they are regretting now.

You can just say "us" instead of pretending like you're not on the mod team at this point since this is also the type of conversations they like to obnoxiously step into on plurk to correct player misunderstandings
