no anon once a month you're supposed to dm the mods and reveal your personal triggers so that the plot (surprise egg impregnation) won't be spoiled but also the mods might scold you anyway

i feel like i'm the only one that remembers games that used to have a spreadsheet for the mods with trigger warnings from players (that they filled out in their app) so that plot/events could be warned for for them or they could avoid anything that related to them. mods had a heads up and players felt listened to.

the mods do solicit CWs from player on their app and there are a few other ways that players are encouraged to list their CWs regularly. CWs are usually a big deal in this game and everyone is upfront about them including the mods

that's why it was so out of left field to have a pregnancy related plot come up without appropriate CWs. a number of players (a mod included iirc) are vocal about pregnancy being a hard no for them. it wasn't a case of the mods being caught off guard.

considering the stupid shit i've seen people warn for in this game, them not warning about this and instead hiding it under the excuse of "surprise!!! we didn't want to spoil this!" was hypocritical.
