you don’t even need to be slovenly either, they just need a constant food source like chicken feed if you’re raising backyard chickens.

Or just live really close to farm fields. We're across the street from one #midwestrurallife. We're not slobs but that doesn't matter, because as soon as the combines start harvesting, the mice start arriving. Only way to stop it is to go around the entire outside of your house and seal off any openings that are larger than a pencil, because surprise, mice are liquid and can squeeze through some pretty small ass holes. For a while they were coming though the dryer vent output.

construction is another one

my parents got them for awhile when the field across the street was getting torn up, and again when the neighbors with mice were doing renovations

those fuckers are living everywhere even if you don't see them. anons are gonna have a time when they finally get to experience baby's first pest control problem lmao

the building beside mine in the city has been torn down twice since i've lived here. completely ripped down. each time, our building's pests have increased tenfold. roaches and mice and even some rats. they are literally everywhere, and people in denial really just solidify my opinion that people are obtuse and too glued to screens.

it's less denial and more youth + blind privilege i think

they'll find out

(Anonymous) 2024-09-12 10:40 am (UTC)(link)
Assuming your experience is universal and anyone whose experience differs is somehow in denial of reality is really not healthy.

(Anonymous) 2024-09-12 10:43 am (UTC)(link)
opinion further solidified by resident shut-in

what a sick burn coming from someone breathlessly arguing on wankgate

(Anonymous) 2024-09-12 11:06 am (UTC)(link)
breathlessly...

you guys really can't imagine a normal person conversing with you. everything has to be an exciting debate that you're unequivocally winning

so it's extra sad that you're just factually wrong this time

(Anonymous) 2024-09-12 12:10 pm (UTC)(link)
you're all cringe.

you do realize that city pests are literally memes at this point, right? new york is a huge city with a dense population, and yet the rats in that city are a well known thing. dragging pizza down to the subway. fighting with seagulls. anywhere that is densely populated by humans and the waste we produce is going to be even more densely populated by vermin that live off our refuse. that's just fact. my city has bedbugs, roaches, mice, rats, raccoons, skunks, and pigeons shitting everywhere. they are all pests that have learned to adapt to city living and survive in those conditions in a way that can cause serious infestations. that fact is not a ymmv thing. it's a legitimate fact. people + their garbage = pests. most big cities have huge pest problems. there are stupid memetic movies made about it from the 80s/90s. this is not new.

i think the anons insisting it's normal and acceptable to live with infestations and people shitting on public sidewalks etc. should check their homes for gas leaks...

the new york subway has a well known problem with empty cars being actual toilets for homeless people riding them.

i'm wondering what backwood 2k population town some of these deniers live in. between the rising homeless tent encampments, drug addictions rising, and cramming a bunch of people in areas not designed for that many because rent is too high to afford on your own, so you need ten people to cover it, someone's not living in the real world if they call bullshit on that. and it's not me.

Probably not America, from the sound of this whole thread
