Problem is she backpedals when she's confronted until people echo chamber her.

I've known her for almost 2 years. She's been through a lot of lesser known drama because it was let go when it should've been confronted. The shit she's brought on herself makes her someone I don't recognize.

Also not in lab and I have seen this happen more than once in shared games.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who finds how obsessed with that ship she is off putting.

yep and vice versa if she is playing bakugo, too.

if you're an ochako or bakugo player, and you ship them with other people, let alone in a game, and ochako or bakugo are interested in other characters? get ready for hell because she will make your life that way until you drop.

she gets really, really weird about bakugo. both playing him and shipping with him.

Wasn't she dragged on wank gate a while back for dramatically calling out a bakugo player for not jumping into a three way relationship with deku and ochako?

OP. you're not the only one, anon. i understand loving a ship a lot, there's a few ships that i get a little hyperfixated over. i think we've all been like that once, or have that one ship we get a little crazy about.

but even the ones i'm super into, i don't push, shame, or force a player to play it if they're into it. if they don't like it? fine, that's cool. we can role-play our characters being close friends instead. it'll still be just as good.

roxy reminds me of those early 2000s weeaboo girls who hadn't grown out of that phase and gets super weird and claims cute anime boys like they are their lovers.

Which time? She's had drama that circled around that at least twice now from what I know. Roxy has something up her butt about this because she always wants to bitch on plurk. But then she has to take it a step further by stalking threads and plurks.

If the ship or Bakugo isn't played the way *she* interprets it, then you're wrong.

what's been wild to me that people see "i couldn't do my job and haven't stopped crying since i left work early" as understandable. being sympathetic, sure, but if anyone really thinks that's a mature and healthy reaction to something in rp, yes even something in rp that put you on blast- it's not. it's really not.

to be fair she acts like this as lot. reading her plurks has always made me wonder how she functions as an adult.

i actually don't think her bakugo is very good which makes it even funnier to me how intense she gets about him.

trying to blame wg for their kneejerk reaction is so dumb, especially when there's also the "oh no, the consequences of my actions!" aspect

have i cried over rp out of frustration? yes. have i been namedropped on wg and it dampened my mood IRL? yes. have i been bummed out when my past games closed or there was wank in it? yes.

but i've never let it upset me so much that i couldn't do my job, or i need to leave work early, or i need to call off of work. it sucks when your hobby goes sideways, but what i've learned that no matter if you are a wanker, a shit mod, or whatever, there will always be one person in this dwrp community who will still role-play with you regardless of what you said or did.

and people in dwrp have short attention spans anyway, so you'll be old news in the next month or so. it's not that serious.

I've definitely seen this happen multiple times in games with her, if it's not bakugou/ochako, she is aggressively pushy and rude to those players. To her anything that isn't bakugou/ochako is ooc.

This is also my experience and quite frankly she's terrible at playing him and her Ochaco isn't much better. She's now on my "avoid at all costs" list.

would love to see plurk stop coddling people who constantly act like babies then act uwu~ thanks for helping me senpai~ over it. there are other people who do it with the same shamelessness, but roxy is one of the bigger examples and her angry, shitty attitude makes it even more baffling in her case

this is petty but something that bugs me about her is she takes and uses icons people mark as dnt for both ochako and bakugo.

As someone who has known her for forever: She might have found it unfun or not her thing but I don't feel like she'd axe it for everyone ever just because she didn't like it. That doesn't feel like the person I know. Or hope I do. I can't say that I think Yon would've either after a good long think on it and have never talked to the third mod at length by choice. I think it was just a bad (terriblehorrible) decision the team made without exploring possible consequences in their conversations. This is usually the case on small teams because of how many people normally will just say ok and move on when it comes to moderation decisions if there's a consensus. Reaching out for help from someone to post it once a month and handle overflow would've gone a long way to fix this if none of them wanted to, I think. Especially since they said it got big fast, they definitely needed more hands if they couldn't handle it. Even if I disagree that two years is fast. Honestly not sure what was going through their minds on all this. Of all the things to be worried about though, the temporary (?) loss of SLEEPR or even the network isn't/wasn't ever the ones I had most concerns with tbh.

I'm doing the taboo thing on wank gate and I'm about to say nice things. I'd like to at least say them since it's the whole truth I've experienced and things she could consider for the future have already been said criticism wise. I do want to separate the moderator from the recent bad decisions in this case.

I've had my fair share of butting heads with her, all resolved as far as I know. Roxy was one of the only mods who cared enough to take action on things when I had issues there without it needing to be stated in black and white. Or because it may be awkward or hard. Big or small. They took time to explain things to me when there were ambiguous situations happening that I couldn't wrap my head around. I'm not apologizing for her, excusing behaviour or decisions that affected or continue to affect a lot of people, but it's not just bad qualities she has. Everyone has bad qualities and Roxy has made a lot of people adverse to her. But, back on track. She was there to help any time I needed it or was too afraid to talk to any of the other moderators/bring my concerns to them as a whole. Roxy always stepped up that way. I can't say I felt the same type of let-me-help-you-and-be-proactive attitude from anyone else looking back on it now. That's why I'm so confused on a lot of things regarding the game, things she has said and decisions made in the last few days.

As for your question, in the very least I think a hiatus until things blow over even a hiatus next month as it looks like Laby's going to have check in this month. I think that's what I'd recommend she do.
