i don't hate this about them because they write pretty well despite the backstory being eh, but i wish they'd actually read permissions posts before they angle for a ship on the first tag

she's just really thirsty to ship even on non-shipping memes, but she does listen if you tell her to change her tag. it's just annoying enough that i don't play teenagers in bs anymore, but not so much that i would consider her a terrible offender of anything and would be up to tagging her in a different setup.

my suggestion would be to message her about it if you are concerned it might happen again, anon! the player seems friendly enough and does seem to listen so it never hurts to try

then again I'm just another wanker on this site so ultimately the decision is up to you

eeeh it's just a bit weird to message a person out of the blue every time i pick up a new character to go 'hey, don't tag me with a shippy angle pls' when it's just a meme and as i've said, she's harmless. i have messaged her the past few times, like i said.

that's why i wish she'd just read permissions post. saves both of us the hassle.

extremely weird player tbh. i don't blame them for trying to shoot their shot, but they've tagged me across different characters and their oc's personality/values change significantly depending on the male character they're threading with, to try to appeal to that male character.

it's just bakerstreet so it's not a big deal, but i wouldn't play with a canon character rper who changed their character's personality to speedrun getting cock lodged into their hole, you know? getting bodyslammed with this character on every single male character i put out with OTA in the header for is just icing on the cake. at this point i just don't tag back when i get a tag from them.

ignoring tags is the norm on bakerstreet. i found it very hard to get used to when i started using this site lol that sort of sucks in a way since I've had that happen to me where my tags were ignored but i have also similarly ignored tags that don't pique my interest.

depends on where my head's at. i find some people are fine with a no thank you, others delete out of embarrassment. others want to know why. and those i ignore because most of the time my reason is 'i'm not interested in your canon/character and i don't like or want to play out the dynamic'. a lot of people have problems compartmentalizing the fact that someone not liking a thing they like doesn't mean they don't like them. i can't tell you how many times i've gotten in rl arguments with someone because 'no thank you, i don't like show, movie, food', but they take it personally. my not liking raisin bread doesn't mean i hate your guts. or that you have bad taste. it just means I don't like the thing.

it's not something i like having to sugar coat or dance around in rejections, so a lot of times, ghosting is just easier.
