.....Ehh, my experience is that if the kink has a bad enough reputation, people WILL jump to conclusions about anything in the past that could be seen has having been kink-motivated :x But the accusations were anon I was also dealing with someone actively out to destroy my reputation at the time, so admittedly I could have had a non-standard experience.

I'm familiar with the situation, and I have the same kink, am vocal about it, and have had no issue. It's not even the "weirdest" kink I have talked about or RPed. Take that as one may, but the short and fast of it is if people are respectful of other people's boundaries, it will typically be fine.

wait jess is still here? why is jess even on this website. i can only think of three people that i can confidently state are universally disliked on the intersection of dreamwidth/plurk, not just among louder people who post on wg or rpa. and jess is definitely one of them.

the other two are second and gsai, and i think gsai is the least hated of the three.

She basically was pushing her kink on people who told her no, repeatedly. And Jess constantly kept not getting that no is a complete sentence and pestered for an explanation why they told her no.

jess has the people who agree with her trash, and mostly there's folks who just aren't willing to unfriend someone because rocking the boat is scary - the person whose plurk jess was bitching and moaning is an example, really.

i think it's crazy because jess is a rare case of someone being not only objectively disgusting, but who was disgusting in ways beyond rp with sharing the personal info and ableist bullshit she did. personally i can't imagine keeping someone like that around.
