the straight teen girls are f/f only but played super ooc and don't act like teen girls but the mun just doesn't want to pick up a grown woman muse
and then the female characters who are the most dykeatron characters in their canon ever are m/f only and only thread with male characters

(Anonymous) 2024-11-10 06:50 pm (UTC)(link)It's just it doesn't feel like they even try to play this character as a character, she feels like a walking vehicle for their kinks. A good rper would be able to play well while having a kink, but this person doesn't. All their female characters feels the same.

(Anonymous) 2024-11-11 11:57 am (UTC)(link)not to say people can't do both. but those looking to this hobby to hone their writing skills above all else are in the minority, and probably also the wrong place. yeah rp can be good writing, no question, but it's out of touch to call that the

(Anonymous) 2024-11-11 01:32 pm (UTC)(link)maybe because i don't rp on bakerstreet, i'm missing something where this person's writing is bad to the point of being incomprehensible and hard to tag with, but what people are saying here is this person a bad rper because they sacrifice characterization for kink
okay, sure. who cares? i don't doubt they do that. i bet they're having fun doing it, too. clearly you wanted it to be the case that i rp with them so i'm defending them, but i hate to tell you: people can be uninvolved with what offends you and still think your take is dumb
and let's be real, "you can do that, most of us have standards" is a really flawed argument against "people should have fun how they want"

(Anonymous) 2024-11-11 02:43 pm (UTC)(link)someine decided the real problem here isn't op getting tagged someone they don't tag back or the weirdness of using that as a passive-agressive flex, instead what we should be discussing that a rper who might be op doesn't care about characterization in their kinky smut rp. that was already changing the kind of conversation from "rpers are bad at social"
getting a response to your complaint of people having fun but writing poorly isn't changing the discussion just because it takes it in a direction you don't like, sorry to say
i suggest instead of watching people be dumb and bad at things, you go ahead and actually do your tags that you will enjoy. i'll help by doing the same
