A straight girl for f/f only, of course

(Anonymous) 2024-11-09 05:11 pm (UTC)(link)
da

that's dwrp for you

the straight teen girls are f/f only but played super ooc and don't act like teen girls but the mun just doesn't want to pick up a grown woman muse

and then the female characters who are the most dykeatron characters in their canon ever are m/f only and only thread with male characters

(Anonymous) 2024-11-09 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
the vast majority of dwrp exclusively decides their ships based on what they personally find hot, not what's ic for the characters

hope this helps

Believe it or not, most of us wouldn’t pick up a character whose entire arc in their first movie is overcoming their shyness about talking to a cute boy and play them as f/f only.

What canon is this

The incredibles

I mean I would not care, since dwrp also plays female characters who's character revolves around another woman as m/f only all the time

It's just it doesn't feel like they even try to play this character as a character, she feels like a walking vehicle for their kinks. A good rper would be able to play well while having a kink, but this person doesn't. All their female characters feels the same.

that "a good rper would..." take is stupid. somebody wants to be a good rper? have fun and do tags. there's not much more to it, especially on a meme comm where nobody can make anybody tag anybody

(Anonymous) 2024-11-11 10:42 am (UTC)(link)
*a skilled writer

there, fixed it for you

(Anonymous) 2024-11-11 11:57 am (UTC)(link)
it can't really be big news to people that many rpers are not looking to practice writing skills, but almost every rper is looking to have a good time, right?

not to say people can't do both. but those looking to this hobby to hone their writing skills above all else are in the minority, and probably also the wrong place. yeah rp can be good writing, no question, but it's out of touch to call that the

sa: *call that the goal, autocorrect has nothing on my fat thumbs

you can do what you want, but most people here demonstrably don't want to write with someone who's so bad at writing it's actually noticeable. as in, they stand out on bakerstreet as a bad writer

but again, you're allowed to tag them

(Anonymous) 2024-11-11 01:32 pm (UTC)(link)
yes, that's what i was saying? that people should have fun tagging the way they and those they're rping with want?

maybe because i don't rp on bakerstreet, i'm missing something where this person's writing is bad to the point of being incomprehensible and hard to tag with, but what people are saying here is this person a bad rper because they sacrifice characterization for kink

okay, sure. who cares? i don't doubt they do that. i bet they're having fun doing it, too. clearly you wanted it to be the case that i rp with them so i'm defending them, but i hate to tell you: people can be uninvolved with what offends you and still think your take is dumb

and let's be real, "you can do that, most of us have standards" is a really flawed argument against "people should have fun how they want"

idk maybe you should scroll up and check what kind of connection you're commenting on because you're going off on your own soapbox here about stuff no one was saying

(Anonymous) 2024-11-11 02:02 pm (UTC)(link)
*conversation. not connection

(Anonymous) 2024-11-11 02:43 pm (UTC)(link)
cannot tell if you're a little dumb or just really stubborn in your defensiveness but dude, really?

someine decided the real problem here isn't op getting tagged someone they don't tag back or the weirdness of using that as a passive-agressive flex, instead what we should be discussing that a rper who might be op doesn't care about characterization in their kinky smut rp. that was already changing the kind of conversation from "rpers are bad at social"

getting a response to your complaint of people having fun but writing poorly isn't changing the discussion just because it takes it in a direction you don't like, sorry to say

i suggest instead of watching people be dumb and bad at things, you go ahead and actually do your tags that you will enjoy. i'll help by doing the same

(Anonymous) 2024-11-11 03:10 pm (UTC)(link)
what the hell are you talking about lol

(Anonymous) 2024-11-11 03:16 pm (UTC)(link)
i had to scroll up myself just to make sure i'm not high but no, it was really

"good writers can write kink without sacrificing characterization" (context: a specific person's characters all sound the same)

you:

(Anonymous) 2024-11-11 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
cannot believe wg thinks its now unfair to want to rp with people who know how to write and actually characterize whoever they're playing in a decent enough way

(Anonymous) 2024-11-11 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
thank you! bad writing is bad rp, period, and if you suck at rp don't be surprised no one wants to rp with you

(Anonymous) 2024-11-11 05:35 am (UTC)(link)
we do straight guys as m/m only all the time
