The only person I've come across with powerlevel issues is Lotus Genie.
The real problem with powers and DW RP is people playing the mythological character instead of the Fate character and giving them their Fate powers and claiming they're RPing from Fate. When...they're not. That person in the last post with the mythology pet peeve had it right.
It's called "grudgewank" in case you haven't been able to point it out. With Nemo inactive and no one willing to go near certain other players, this fandom is by and large quiet save for the minor shipping spats here and there.
And then there's someone with an axe to grind against this lotus-genie person. Routine for wankgate.

also i personally take myth into account when i play fate characters. i think it's a little silly to completely ignore the source material when you're playing any character from a canon based on myths/fairy tales/history, which i also see some people do.
but i try to be really careful never to contradict fate canon. it's a really fun supplement, but should only be used to fill in background headcanon, never to replace nasu's canon. i think it's possible to add myth things without supplanting canon.
i actually think using myth/historical info to fill in the gaps is a lot of fun. you just gotta remember not to go "saber drowning a boat full of infants" crazy with it.

Outside of RP, because she can translate Japanese, she thinks she's god's gift to fandom. The sad part is, as stated earlier, she's not too bright, so the things she says tends to be wrong. What makes it bad is that she'll jump into people's plurks to tell them how wrong they are when she's the one that's incorrect. Not to mention that she is really creepy and has no clue about social boundaries.

exactly this. when more than one person has asked her to not tag with them, she'll continue to leave tags on their posts and then gets upset with them for not answering. she joins games with people who are uncomfortable with her and then demands they tag since she joined their cast. if someone doesn't tag with her, she makes a big deal over it while trying to convince everyone in the cast why they need to play with her. everything is about her wants and no one elses.
people have pulled her to the side several times since she joined mayfield to talk to her and give her crit. she ignores it. she's everything that is wrong with the fate community on this site. she has issues with power levels starting back from when she played in mayfield by having bazett fight people she couldn't to getting powers mixed up down to being crazy with her shipping preferences to slaughtering characterization. for a while, her bazett did reek of self insert due to the entitled attitude she had whenever lancers didn't want to play with her.
one incident that doesn't get mentioned often is when a f/z caster joined animus, a lot of castmates were excited so they gushed about it on plurk naturally. she came in to every plurk and grilled people for "pressuring" the player even though that wasn't what was going on and inevitably caused them to drop because of how awkward she made tagging with them.
she's naturally a person who has to be in the right all the time. even when she's wrong she'll try to rally up friends to agree with her to blow things out of proportion.

didn't she really piss of lunar at some point in a_fac and he refused to tag her at all? she eventually dropped and her drop post reeked of passive aggressive overtones to him.
I almost never cut people, but I eventually cut her because she refused to stop being rude in my plurks. Also because every time I did a meme she'd barge in and derail it into her making a bunch of weird sexual jokes(shipping meme would turn into her asking me if my characters would have sex with a blender and shit).

There's a story about how Fion met one of the many wives he had, Sadhbh, when he was out hunting. She'd been turned into a deer by a druid, but he was able to figure out that she was really human and eventually she was able to turn back into one, and he got her pregnant before that same druid turned her back into a deer and she disappeared. Fion searched for her for years, and eventually he reunited with his and Sadhbh's son Oisin, whose name literally means "young deer".
So yeah, I guess the whole "deerfucker" thing makes some kind of sense, but she wasn't even really a deer nor was she in the form of one when Fion got her pregnant, so it's still a pretty stupid joke.
Agreeing with all the above. I've only ever played with her in a cast very briefly, but I've seen her behaviour in a lot of mutual friend's plurks and heard too many stories to want to tag her again. I'm glad I never added her.
As someone who's been in a cast she's joined I can tell you a few things.
1. At Mayfield she refused to even look at the things I posted on my character journal that had to do with in-game permissions and other game related things I had up. (I had been in-game for almost two years and I made it clear to people that due to the development of the character doing ___ would result in well shit happening.)
When it came down to events dealing with fighting all of her threads were trying to have Bazett over power my character even when they had more regains and are considered more powerful than Bazett. It got to the point where I had to ignore plots that would lead to fighting because even after I asked her not to tag she still would.
2. Currently in Animus she's egging on the Gawain and Lacelot players / invading at least the Gawain players plurks when she talks about certain things. Saying that ___ needs to happen for sure. / it seems like she's trying to force stuff icly that the player doesn't want.
3. She's rude as all hell in people's plurks, I had to remove her twice after she kept making sex jokes and rude comments about my characters. Along with telling me how I should play my non-fate characters along with asking many times to do smut threads even though I said I was uncomfortable with it.
