He's actually still mortal, but is slowly regaining his powers due to the attack of the Leviathan from December.
As for the rest of it, I feel like people may be confusing IC/OOC, because Crowley certainly acts like he wants everyone to bow to him. That's part of his character. He's cocky, arrogant, and kind of a piece of shit. He's the villain. Of course he's going to act like he's God's gift to Earth, because as far as he's concerned, he is.
As for me, I honestly love knocking him down a few pegs from time to time, to prove that he really isn't as infallible as he thinks he is, so -- thank you for noticing my efforts in his character arc at Siren's Pull is what I'm trying to say, anon.
