They did not get butthurt that someone said it would likely only be them--they don't actually CARE. The big blow-up was one of them whining that they hate being friends with mods and yet why didn't they ask HER to be a mod and weh.
Correct. That was me. I was exceedingly upset and really lost my head in that plurk, and for whatever reason I did not follow the time-honored tradition of getting the fuck away from the computer. Some things I said were true, but said in such a way that it was waaaay hurtful. And ridiculously dramatic. I'm not really going to try and explain why I went into such a fucking breakdown because I'm not sure myself. Either way, it was wrong and stupid, among some of the dumbest stuff I've ever done. I have apologized to Angel and Arcadia and am in the process of moving on with my RP life.
This is considered throwing someone under the bus? If someone whined publicly that they hated being friends with mods but then turned around and complained you didn't ask them to be a mod, I'd throw them under the bus, too, then.
No, they got butthurt. Maybe they don't care if they're the only ones in the game, but being told "why bother having ac when no one's going to app anyway" was too much truth for them to handle.
Then came the hates being friends with mods whining.
