I don't know, I've never had a problem with Rift. He's pretty mellow and stays under the radar, doesn't really go out of his way to get into situations. He just doesn't really sugarcoat things, and speaks his mind. In a culture where you need to be modest as fuck, I can see how that comes off as an awful person, especially when you're a mod of a game that has a lot of limelight for being wanky, even when there isn't really any wank.
Rift isn't a problem, other than his serial app/dropping, and trying to make him one is a little silly.
yeah tbh his fangirls are more of a problem than he is though i have noticed he tends to move from one girl to another every few months. weren't he and lock a "thing" (not a real one but they were rp partners for quite some time) and then now it looks to be katy or franzy. not THAT weird because people change and grow apart all the time, but it is a little disconcerting when you consider how avidly they'll app something just to cockhop each other.
I'd much rather have my fellow players speak their minds freely instead of this farce of walking around egg shells to the point where they'd have to be assuming that I'm able to telepathically pick up on all the insecurities and issues they may have with something that we so often see in DWRP.
