That is where most plots that require characters being left in the dark always break down, the narration. It drives me crazy. Not giving away too many deets, but my character is someone who locks their shit down. There should be no hints to their inner thoughts in a tag, and yet I've had perfectly good plots never get off the ground because everyone ~had a feeling~.
