We just had this happen recently. A sort of, "hey, I've been gone, I'm going to need everybody to tell me what I missed!"
And when people were like, "well...if you don't want to read every post, you could check the tags for the ones you're interested in. The plotty ones are even tagged with "plot"! Oh, and we do this roundup thing where a brief description of all the posts is and then links to them...."
And there's, "oh yeah, I saw that but I didn't actually read it."
And then I wanted to kick something because why go through all the effort to make these things for players to use if they don't fricking use them? I know I have other things I could be doing with my time and I figure my fellow mods do too.
