I can understand why people find the relationship squicky. Especially if the younger character is one who has been abused in the past and is more vulnerable.

But my understanding is that the game is a horror game, and deals with adult issues and squick. And that such a relationship between those characters is not OOC, though it might be distasteful or disturbing to others. If it's sufficiently warned for and behind a cut so that those who want to avoid being disturbed can opt out of looking at it, I don't understand what the problem is.

Isaac isn't shown to have an sexual interest in men who happen to be in their mid-30s.
In fact the two people he has explicitly stated an interest in were both female. Allison, who he is getting together with in canon, and Jennifer, who he mentioned was hot.

One could go so far as to argue that being abused by his father and then facing a few abusive episodes from Derek, would put him off older men and push him more towards people his own age.

And there's the obvious point that this whole thing is because Sae didn't get in with Dean so she wants to guard against Cas getting with anyone else.

one could also go so far as to argue that being abused by his father would make him try to seek out positive and affectionate relationships with older men in order to fill that gap. both arguments are equally plausible. your different interpretation is not automatically the correct one just because you want it to be.

People are just as entitled to voice their distaste and ask for some clarification for progress up until this point. Which neither mun really seemed capable of doing, they couldn't even agree on the same basic outline for where the relationship was going to progress.
