LJ-era sws was my go-to for casual RP for a long time. it moved fast and there was a lot of variety, so it was usually pretty easy to find someone worth playing with. i don't know if it was already going downhill before the big move or not, but it was never the same on DW.
i really miss when old sws was active, and i used to love stalking the mini-games that were there. and with the sad state of bakerstreet these days, there isn't really any non-meta place to go besides sws/www.
