I left this game right before the original mod changeover happened, thinking of coming back now. Has it changed under the new mods, anons? What's your experience been like?
Saying the game information should be free is entitled...? He straight up says in the patreon description that it ties into the game. If he didn't want to make this story and its characters available for free, he shouldn't have used this canon. Sorry.
P.S. au art is technically copyright infringement if it's of a character the artist doesn't have written permission to portray, and profiting off of that sort of thing is technically illegal, but that's another can of worms, I know.
I have to say, for it to keep happening again and again, either she's pathetically weak and should get offline and get help, or she's complicit. Plain and simple. I don't care how old you are, and I'm older than she is, but fuck this noise that she's so pure and too perfect for this fucking world. If she's this dumb, she needs help.
and she's mentioned multiple times this girl has shown interest in following her on plurk, but she won't tell her her username because... you know, she plurks about being in love with her all the time. it's fucking ridiculous.
I have never been in Darkness but I was in a different game with Pulse where she was a player and not a mod and I can confirm Pulse is something of a closeted bitch. She does shit talk people but usually on AIM and no I can't provided deets as my experiences with her happened several years ago and the saved conversations were lost but I can say that something about what this anon posted sounds truthful. She is sweet to your face but will shit talk you behind your back and get crazy jealous if you try to get CR with her characters friends.
I think the biggest problem will be the fact that there is no real stakes. Danged and excitement, but will they succeed? Of course they will, because we already know they do. So it doesn't really matter how much of a threat they might face. We know that in the end, they succeed.
you're welcome to find it however you like, but when it goes against the actual posted rules of the comm, you either play along with it or you fuck off. as you do with any rules of any comms you play in.
if you can't figure out it's to keep people from reposting the same shit over and over and over by now, that's your problem. 'at least a week' is the rule between meme postings to keep it from being flooded with the same three-four memes over and over. it's worked out well since it's actually been implemented, so coming in now because a new meme comm is breaking the rules and trying to play it off like rules are for idiots isn't helping.
the comm's moderated. there are rules. follow them or don't post/play in the comm. that simple.
i didn't say you were. you're one of those people that needs (general you) emphasized, aren't you? you're complaining that people are complaining about rule breaking. you ask things, don't like the answer, then call butthurt rage.
go to bed, ddb. rules aren't there for you to sneak around under them and slip in au versions because you don't like the rules and rules are subjective. you adhere to rules or you don't play. that's how adults do things.
what did i project? just get off your high horse, anon. you're coming in to something you obviously don't care about to poke fun at people that 'care too much'. you know why you see people complaining about memes being overposted? because they're overposted. the comm has basic moderation, which equates to 'don't post too much, and the ones that are popular are on a schedule'. why? because that's how shit worked out. memes that are too similar posted too soon get deleted. there's not a lot of rules on bakerstreet, but when the ones that are there are getting broken, yeah, people are going to complain.
memes aren't the totally srs bsns games are, we get it. i don't think people need to pull a mecha_sosa and hunt down people that don't reply or count who drops what threads or w/e. the basic playing of memes is lax. but the posting has limits and rules because people have complained about it. there was a problem. the problem was addressed. just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean shit. you can disagree with game rules, but you still have to adhere to them if you want to play the game.
you might not have asked anything, but coming in saying 'your concept is dumb and you're all dumb for having it' is just inflammatory and a way to stir shit. grats on you, i guess. you got replies.
