when you're playing a kind, compassionate, warm character and you start being able to tell that someone is just using them as a disposable crying shoulder.
can't wait to develop this character to the point where they'll realize when other characters are using them this way and draw away from the cr.
that's happening to one of my characters right now
i'm just gonna straight up stop doing threads with the other character unless the player's able to offer me something beyond my character eternally comforting/worrying about theirs. nothing about their cr has changed or developed since their very first thread months ago.
Good for you, anon. I don't hate playing that kind of cr out at all, it's a natural part of playing the character, but I'm really over all the work being on the compassionate characters side of things. If people take it for granted, they don't deserve it.
