Being an antagonist in canon means every shounen hero and their dog has to one-up my character in some way by the end of their first interaction. I get it, I'm playing a bad guy. Doesn't mean I'm automatically interested in your Good Guy walking all over him for...what reason?
Please just step off and plot with me if it's that important.
