Whining about their top level getting no tags is annoying but not creepy.
However I've never seen anyone actively track how fast they're being tagged in comparison to other players without being creepily overinvested.
I once had someone track posts I made so they could call me out if I was tagging other threads at a faster pace than theirs. It was very very awkward, unfortunately this was back in the LJ days and I was kind of a dumbass too so I just tagged them out of obligation instead of telling them to fuck off with that shit or stop tagging me.
