this series still sucks but not because those two died

levi staying alive is in a sense more of a punishment for the insufferable eruri crowd

actually legitimately genuinely dead or snk dead? nobody who even remotely mattered has died in the series thus far so i'm skeptical

legitmately dead. erwin died after the whole who should get the serum bullshit and than bertholdt was eaten by titan!Armin so he would become a shifter.

I think this is the arc to finally make me realize how incredibly bad the series is. Armin has always been one deus ex machina after another, so I wasn't surprised by the outcome.

I am so fucking glad bertholt died. He was boring and stiff. Fuck him, I can't believe anyone felt sorry for a character that basically murdered thousands.

I can feel pity for him because he was really young when he attacked the wall and probably did it at t he command of an adult, probably Zeke. And then after he attacked the wall what could he do but keep on with the subterfuge, because I can't imagine the humans embracing him after that even if he flung himself on their mercy. He was a damaged child soldier caught between a rock and a hard place.

Im fine with him getting killed off though.

All in all, it's probably a mercy that he's dead now. Hell, any of the non-hero shifter's deaths would be a mercy for them. They're such broken kids.

I have big hopes for Annie but yeah. They're damaged child soldiers and honestly I have a hard time seeing how Bert and Reiner especially could have salvaged a relationship with the humans. They're the two titans who broke the wall and I can't see the humans forgiving them for that.

Well, having actually seen his death scene it's less a mercy death and more cruelty, but all in all, he's probably knows peace now.

because holy shit, that's a lonely and horrible way to go. I understand why it was done, but jeez that's going to bite the protags in the ass later.

the scene directly parallels the death of marco shown in the recent flashback
