The mods are receptive and responsive so I would give it a shot at talking to them about it.

Who are the mods anyway? It's a team of two isn't it. Are they brand new to modding? Has anyone gotten any feedback from them? If they're new they may give usagi a chance....

Maybe it's just me but I feel like the way to check whether the mods are going to take your concerns seriously is to take them to the mods, not fish for details from a bunch of anons on wg.

i've got nothing more to add. ayrt sounds like they want someone else to go to the mods rather than do it themselves, too

anon who said they'd go to the mods and i wasn't fishing for details. maybe i should have rephrased but it was early in the morning and i tend to browse before work (and coffee). i was mostly curious how receptive they'd be and if it was a waste of my time. as someone not currently in the game but intending to join it really would prevent me from apping and i don't want to waste the time i've put into writing my app already by not saying something. i don't really know much about the game and the playerbase (i know no one in it). it really isn't a big deal to me and i'm someone that is going to stick to first-hand experiential facts when talking to the mods.

i don't have any links saved since the mod in the game i was at took care of it and i like to back crit and complaints up with details and evidence where and when possible. anyone can say this person manipulated me and did this to me and even if they're detailed in their account, it doesn't mean it actually happened. if that was the case, people would be removed from games for petty things and we already have enough blow-ups without details here.

ayrt, i think with all the hemming and hawing i'll still go to the mods especially since it seems like people would rather argue if they'll do something or not and complain about that.

personally, i'd rather save my complaining for if they completely ignore complaints rather than preemptively just assume they will and do nothing. as someone who has been a mod in the past, it's amazing the shit people expect you to do without actually coming to them with a concern and how they expect you to read their minds, just go by whatever was on wankgate, and also not assume that since the players can't bother to say anything that clearly they're mostly fine with whatever is going on.

talk to your mods, damn it. i haven't even finished my application yet and i'm still going to. if they decide to take the word of current players over potential ones i fully understand that, but hopefully you guys will grow spines and say something. all it really takes is saying someone makes for a toxic environment, here is why, and it affects me in that i don't want to play in this game because of it. damn.

I'm socking it up and bringing my concerns to them. I don't have any personal experiences with her, thank god, but I just want to give them a heads up, if anything. My biggest concern is if Pyra follows her, but I don't want the Far Shore to become Cosmo 2.0. For Usagi herself, I'm appalled that she supported and contributed to that behavior, which I think is fair enough grounds to be worried.
