I hope they don't address any nationalities at all. I'd rather the characters just be characters and not token representation.

i don't see how confirming their nationalities/ethnicities hurts anything, really. they're still the same characters as they were before, plus it would put (some) end to all the offensive "nationality/ethnicity" headcanons.

there's always gonna be people who "headcanon" confirmed characters as a different nationality/ethnicity, but at least it'll take the winds out of a few sails.
