tbh, if other people do the exact same thing and gets enthusiasm, but you do it and get ignored, the people you're talking to just aren't as interested in talking to you in general. They've known the others longer or click with them better.

Also, how are you approaching the person? Do you have an idea for a thread? Or are you just saying "play with me!!"

When I plurk for meme threads, I end up chatting most with people who can supply ideas instead of expecting me to do everything to get the scene started.

you're not too off base here, sometimes it is RP related. and i only come in if i have an idea if that is the case. most of the time though it's "rate my character's ass 1-10" bullshit and i get blown off lol

then they're just not as close to you, into you, whatever as they are their other friends. don't waste your time on them, because it's not going to go anywhere.

on fandom terms, yes, that's true. i can't get too specific on how it doesn't apply offline, but it definitely applies for fandom.

i guess i'm thrown off by how i'm treated one on one as opposed to in their public posts. i get the feeling they like me but are embarrassed by me but i definitely read into things too much so i'm just not going to dwell on it anymore
