it's just a pink gemstone, there's no reason to think it's pink diamond specifically
i won't totally rule out the possibility that rose didn't really shatter pd, but i'd be disappointed if that was the case. it would be a cop-out imo, as opposed to having it be that rose did do a terrible thing that she's trying to make up for.
