didn't mean to imply that it was true for EVERY foster child. case in point, it wasn't necessarily true for me. while i have some bad memories, i can only say at most i was mildly neglected.
but to imply that the foster system isn't fucked up by any means is doing a horrible disservice to the kids who're forced to live in it.
