funny how different people have different experiences. even funnier how sometimes when someone hears something that's relatable to theirs, they might want to share an opposing side of it that's how conversations work. you're not talking into a void.
no. contradicting opinions and varied experiences isn't the same thing, but if you want to tell yourself that to feel superior so that you're clearly 'winning' and not just being told 'hey, sometimes this is why people do that thing you're complaining about', then you go right ahead. it's okay to be wrong, anon. or to find out new things. what's not okay is la la laing your way into making everyone else seem like the titinfant when you're the one screaming the loudest.
or maybe you should realize that not everything revolves around you and you don't need to dive into a discussion to derail it with arguing over details.
what discussion? it literally didn't exist as a "discussion" until those people disagreed. it existed as a tossed-off complaint. your "side" (which consists of rewording "SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP") is the only one diving into a discussion and derailing it.

not everything is about you where you need to defend yourself and nitpick everything people are talking about.
