is your game big enough for AC mods or AC helpers? If so, polling them or asking their ideas would be a good idea, just so you can get more people on your side. I was former AC helpstaff at a large game and we were all downright THRILLED when the game removed the warning list. it's just too much of a hassle
not a mod anymore (i didn't quit because of this lmao), sorry if this was confusing, i tried using past tense to convey but that's easily overlooked. anyway, i actually did suggest it at the time citing some of the issues i had with it then, but it wasn't a suggestion that was received all that warmly for whatever reason.
but thanks for sharing your experience. it's actually good to hear that maybe mods are more open to the idea now of moving past that phase in our history. could be that part of the reason why it's even stuck around for as long as it has is it's just been viewed as a given/"every game has one now" type of reason.
