chaos is a poor choice of words but i can see how this would be a nightmare logistically speaking? idk trying to read it with the other anon's comment about tossing everyone else out of the plot, it does sound like a few people wanted to get involved like she was asking for but now that's all getting scrapped?
still a far cry from chaos, but i'm seeing why the players are frustrated.
