i feel like that's a bad rule tbh. if you're gonna have a cut-off in between your month ac period, you may as well just have a shorter period and spare yourself complainers.
alternatively some games say the thread must have begun in the month of the AC period. so a thread from february, even with march comments, won't be counted.
