i joined for the mixed setting and it is disappointing, it feels like a lot of players just don't want that about the game. and the handful that do really keep it close to their chest by sticking to established cr.
honestly i don't blame the mod, effort has been made to encourage people, ac points, restructuring the set up, making announcements, taking feedback and suggestions. the player base is the problem imo. i've seen people say they want to get involved in this and do nothing to make it happen, it comes off like lip service. i feel bad that half the point of the game is outright ignored because no one seems to actually want to touch it. i'd like to see more people join who actually implement that part of the game's aspect, we have a plethora of action heroes that should be meddling in that angle and only a handful of people seem to be doing it.
ia about the tdm. it might be more useful to make a separate post in the game proper to encourage players to interact with that part of the setting. there have been big game changing events like acid rain and flooding that everyone's ignoring in favor of parties, drinking and other sol aspects. the fire and memory share player plots are the only big game wide events that everyone seemed to get involved in.
