not to mention people who think that keeping a cat locked away in one room is in any way okay shouldn't have one. cats aren't dogs but they still need space to work out that pent-up energy, and it's going to be miserable being cooped up in one room for long periods of time, especially if she's getting a fucking kitten.
people who do manage to keep their cats pent into a single room fucks with them as well. i used to be friends with someone who did that and didn't even notice when their cat wasn't eating anymore and didn't get the poor thing to the vet until it was starved to near death and had to be put down. it's a cruel and unacceptable way to own a cat.
and no i'm not one of those people who think cats should be outdoors. i'm just not fucking stupid to think that they're equipped to live their whole life in a 120 square foot space.
