sounds like they 'approached' the situation after op brought it up to them as a thing. so it was an approach with prodding. lots of people play stuff they don't want because they don't feel up to actually speaking their minds. i'll take someone coming up and saying they aren't happy with x and they'd like to just not over someone regretting playing with me or giving me a tag a month because they don't actually want to play the thing.
