possibly they have, but hearing a song by someone you're not familiar with doesn't suddenly make you familiar with them. i'm sure i've heard plenty of songs by people i have no knowledge of. i might know the song, but i wouldn't go 'oh, that's x song by y group.' which is the whole point of this thread.
