i'm hoping there's more context here because anon quite frankly this sounds like.... a pretty normal thing to do
if someone goes to the hospital and nobody says anything that's hurtful! it's not unreasonable to assume that someone might post a pic assuming that maybe the text was overlooked to confirm that people really were ignoring that they were in the hospital, or simply because they did want validation because they're in the hospital and that's fairly major and it's normal and ok to want acknowledgement
