I tend to freak out when I end up with 10 or more tag-ins from active players who make me feel glued to my seat with responsibility during times when I thought I could just casually tag around for 2-3 hours. When half of them are boring nonentities where people want to talk about the kind of sandwich they're eating, or just throw one-liners at me trying to make their characters look/feel smart, I drop that shit and focus on the threads that interest me.
On the other hand, I've recently seen someone freak out and start frothing about how "rude" it is for people to keep tagging when there have been other people tagging a post. (no deets available, the person has since deleted her plurk over unrelated drama) People like that ruin it for everyone.
