A player outright asked if the modteam was going to step forward. Mod account said no. People pushed back, the mods said a bunch of stupid bullshit including "Okay, bye I guess".

Now the other mods (or maybe the same mod, who knows) just went into both the discord and plurk to feign damage control. It's pathetic.

am I reading this right? is azula's mun actually telling other people off for drilling the mods about their identities? "giving them the benefit of the doubt" when one of the reasons why they're bleeding players is because the mods have used their anonymity in bad ways?

it did. the long story short is i fumbled the ball super hard on a lot of things, and it got Too Bad, Too Quick for me to handle. i tried to pass off the game to anyone enthusiastic enough about it to do things, but one of the other mods went nuclear in the discord, and now there's just too much bad faith for the game to continue

knowing bee's past behavior, the drop post being suspiciously comment-locked for a short time after she posted her drops, i can believe that the comments on the discord channel were made by bee.

it doesn't excuse gsai's behavior, but bee has been known in recent history to fly off the handle at the slightest hint of criticisms.
