all of you are judging this character so much but the reason people tag them back is because they have fairly decent tags and are consistent. that's more than i can say for a lot of rpers.

fwiw i agree with you but people are going to argue this issue anyway. to me, there's a line between rping a character in a sex game in an IC, believable way... and rping against what is clearly a manifestation of someone's OOC fetish.

it's not a clear line, hence why people will argue it. but in the case of this soundwave i just don't want to engage with what, to me, looks less like an IC character choice and more like an OOC fetish.

i'd honestly be surprised if they got into the game myself, but we'll see.

it is kinda odd to app a canon character and then play them in a form that has no basis in canon for like 80% of your threads, and to repeat this in every game you bring them to. just seems like the player should make an oc instead.

i never said it was canon. someone said there's not any canon basis except we have hasbro with the line of "but what if they were cute anime girls" figurines, so it's not like it's an idea completely spun out of nowhere

soundwave was never seen using a holomatter avatar at all and i don't really care about what that implies for the larger discussion. i'm just saying there's no particular "avatar gender matches robot gender" precedent like airt seemed to be assuming.
