would much rather rp with someone who ticks all of these boxes and actually answers their tags than with someone who goes all in on the aesthetic and then never finishes any of their threads.

for me it's more aspect ratio. if the aspect ratio is ok it can be a weird size. similarly if the aspect ratio is off on a 100 x 100 i hate it.

+1000 a fucked up aspect ratio is such a major turnoff

realtalk i honestly don't know how anyone sits down, creates an icon where their character's face is stretched comically wide across and artifacted to hell by it, and think "ah yes this looks fine, onto the journal it goes"

i've also literally never had a fun thread with tags from journals with this even after trying to give them chances a time or two in the past

i accept suboptimal icons and uns from friends and people i have confirmed can write, but i can't trust like that on bakerstreet
