elden ring isn't that bad of a suggestion because even though it has a malleable protag there's not any romancing so there aren't a bunch of npc players shitting blood over the thought of having to tag the main character from their voluntarily chosen canon

i play an elden ring npc and would romance a tarnished with them

this might shock you but "whiny bitches whining bitchily" is not limited to MP players. if you're wanting to avoid whiny bitches entirely and never interact with any potential whiny bitch ever, i suggest a different hobby - preferably one that doesn't involve other people.

sure, you can play from any canon and opt out of playing from any character in those canons, even if they aren't MPs

disagree if the main character is an OC and the other characters are fully fleshed-out and interesting in their own right. there's tons of rp stuff you can do with the many MP-containing games that have nothing to do with that MP. it's weird as well that you assume they don't like the canons because they don't want to rp with malleable protags, a relatively small part of some games (baldur's gate is a good example, where the MP literally does not have to exist at all)

ayrt has to be a tav player, right. the wording is almost identical to a similar comment made by a tav on rpa a couple posts ago
