any game that has casts will have cliques, it's just that cliques can make sense in that context. casts do things like make their own servers so they can keep track of infinite details, not because they think people not in their cast suck. you don't have a problem clique until they're refusing to play with anyone not in it.

this comment is assuming OP is telling the truth, by the way. if it's genuinely "server for people who want to discuss very slow threads, which anyone is welcome in at any time" then I more don't understand why it's necessary? use the game discord?

I see you are engaging sincerely so I will engage sincerely. You're totally right, cliques are normal.

It's not a server for discussing the threads, it's a server for people who have a hard time making AC and want a space to feel comfortable asking each other to tag their threads at the end of the month. Unsurprisingly, this has a lot of overlap with the people who complained about AC rules. It's a very inactive server until the last week of the month. It's meant as a consideration to not bother people who aren't comfortable tagging "to make AC". Not isolationist at all, just didn't want to make anyone feel awkward.

Considering a full third of the game is in said server, INCLUDING LITERALLY ALL OF THE MODS, I think that speaks to why the mods felt they needed to adjust AC rules.

Yeah OP is lying. If it's a secret clique of elitists they are doing a really bad job. There are over 20 people there now just chilling and asking for a few quick tags at the end of the month.

Idk why they want to make it out as this evil cabal.
