I’m sorry I said the bad word that hurt your feelings, but you don’t have to be unhinged about it.

Biphobia’s still real tho.

If you’re not that other anon, then I legit apologize. I was half-trolling initially, but I actually was curious about the Reddit astarion fangirls.

it's fine

if you are curious then yes there's an entire subset of astarion fangirls in tiktok and twitter who lose their lid if you so much as imply astarion fucks men too

but at the same time there's an entire subset of astarion fans who get aggressive about gay men or (trans) lesbians seeing astarion as m/m or f/f (trans headcanon) and it's no better honestly it gets homophobic really fast

it's headcanons. it's not meant to be canon and most of this stuff is born from personal experiences. i hate the infighting because no one wins in the end. i as a bisexual don't consider bg3 making everyone pansexual as a great win for bisexual representation because at the end of the day it's about money. by making everyone bi/pan larian doesn't have to code more complex relationships a la dragon age inquisition, rakes in good will/pr and gets people to fight to the death for them

it's about money and it's about straight people being able to easily ignore the m/m or f/f routes because they can romance the bi/pan character too. it's why the astarion girlies seethe if you remind them astarion fucks dudes too

and i don't think it's wrong for gay men and lesbians to want representation too. so no i don't feel right saying shit like 'bisexual supremacy' or whatever. it's mean-spirited to me
