ngl, there are people that 'you finding me attractive is problematic', but it's like a catch 22 problem. a 25+ year old woman who looks 12 is supposed to what, only date 12 year old boys? Only date pedos? Never date? Women (and men) like that have to constantly be on guard and are probably paranoid that 'anyone interested in me is interested in me for the wrong reasons' because they're basing it all on looks. And realistically, they aren't entirely wrong. But they're in a lose-lose scenario and I feel genuinely bad for them.

That said, someone sleeping with a legal adult well past the age of majority who also happens to look pubescent isn't a pedo. But they will definitely be judged for it. They did an svu episode on a real world incident over it. Recently, a case keeps popping up on my scrolling fb feeds in those dumb group meme things where a 26 year old is talking about the pitfalls in dating when she looks 12.

so to chisel that down to 'my character has no boobies, so that makes you a pedo if you like her' is gross. plenty of grown adults who look like grown adults in the face just don't have big tatas.

a 25 year old woman who looks young is supposed to behave and be treated like a 25 year old woman, including by the people she dates. keep your pity, if my bf was posting that shit on on fb or reddit i would dtmfa.

and yet, she isn't. because she gets id'd when she's out all the time, she has to wear kid's clothes, and if she kisses an adult she's dating in public, she can cause people to make calls for child abuse. i'm not talking about 'looking young'. i'm talking about conditions that make a grown adult look like a prepubescent child. it can be hard for someone new to look at what seems to be a child and treat them like an adult, just like it can be hard for someone that looks like a child to not think that any adult showing her sexual attention is doing so for the 'right' reasons. go look up shauna rae. hers is the more well known one, but she's not the only one.

she has a reality show and is currently dating someone and there's a lot of buzz around trying to normalize it even though she looks so young and it's going to have bad optics in public. that's a legitimate concern. and she's not the only one. there's also hasbulla, another relatively famous type, who has a rare form of dwarfism that makes him look like a perpetual toddler.

they're in their 20s, and the idea of healthy dating for them is going to be something that's never really going to be a thing, because the public eye is going to make a stink about it.

i know which woman you're talking about and i legit feel sad for her, and i've met someone with the condition you're talking about. it's caused by a growth hormone deficiency or something that causes puberty to just... not happen, or happen in a weird way.

in a perfect world nobody should be denied a chance at love for something that is 100% not their fault. but it also means they'd have to find the one saint of a person on earth who wants to be with them DESPITE the way they look and not one of the many, many creeps who want to be with them BECAUSE of it.
