vivzie is shit but its kinda funny that men can be much worse and still regarded as good artists or when they're edgelords it's considered charming. Like people didn't love Homestuck and Invader Zim despite their creators being assholes too.

What did they do? Looking it up on google doesn't turn up much, at least for Invader Zim. The high point of most people's obsession with those things was years ago anyway and most of us moved on, so it's not quite the same as people willingly consuming this shitty show with its shitty creator in 2025.

Vivzie was like this 20 years ago too. Now she gets money from Bezos and she is still like this and people defend her. She is also a terf. I can't say the other two aren't terfs but I don't see receipts for them, so Vivzie is winning right now in terms of who looks worse. It's not a misogyny thing, she just sucks more.

I would rather people just admit its because the characters are ugly or the writing sucks then trying to pretend its about morals or what creator is "worse" since people will always move the goalposts when it's something they like, or you don't know what creator will be revealed to have been a monster (Gaiman) (and people still rp his characters).

Harry Potter is still raped. Big companies like Disney are evil and a lot of shows are distributed by Amazon, so by this same logic no one should be rping from that either. If you're trying to make it about the morals of the canon then any mainstream work can't be rped from since every single big company is exploitative and evil.

I don't watch this show, I think it looks ugly and I'm not doubting she's a bad writer since the clips were unfunny. But you can't play this game because I know if someone brought up another shitty male creator or the MCU or something then you would crying about being too woke.

ayrt here, i didn't say anything about hazbin having a consumer message? i was just saying that vivzie being a nasty person and a terf is relevant because there are things in hazbin and helluva that reflect that. whereas part of the reason it's different for, for example, rping from tloz is despite nintendo being a notoriously anti-consumer company, that isn't reflected in tloz canon.

Maybe ayrt has some actual tea but afaik Jhonen (invader zim creator) just doesn't pull punches about how weird he finds fandom stuff like shipping etc. He also has a lot of strong opinions on media in general but I think people do not realize he is a goth and that's like the number one qualifier for that subculture.
