It's not even that they can't. you could argue zzz is newer and improved on the old models, but honkai impact came before both of these and it has more expressions.

this. it's not that they can't, they just don't want to. they're putting some of that whale money into bloating their games to such a degree that in a few years, no machine will be able to run them.
